New Hampshire Prep-Opt will follow Massachusetts rules
for all 5 levels: rookie, novice, intermediate, advanced and superior
with the following exceptions:

Under General Description
#5. Add or a 32.00 AA in one meet.
Under General Requirements
#5. Change January 1 to March 1
#8. For all theme meets and Advance and Superior you must have a Two
judge panel

Under Meet Organization
#1. Add for local meets. You may go up to 80 for theme and invitationals.
Please keep in mind that these group’s should get in and out as quickly
as possible.
#2. Change to Prep-Optional sessions should be no longer then 2 ½ hours,
and ½ hour for awards for all local meets. For theme and
invitationals, please keep in mind that these groups should get in and
out as quickly as possible.
#4. Take out "Advance" and add "Unless approved by the State Chairman".
#5. Add "in advanced"
Some clarifications from Mass are:
- Air-O-Board may only be used in Rookie and Novice divisions as
stated in MA rules
- Angles of leaps and jumps are not specific to a level.
However, it is expected the higher the division, the greater the angle
should be. Composition will come into play in this instance.
- Degree of split Beam and Floor
Since 30*, 60*, 90*, 120*, etc
are all allowable elements to choose from, there is no “required” degree
for each level. However, you would expect the degree of the split
in increase as does the level of competition. With no required split
degree, there would be a deduction taken in Composition of up to .20 for
“choice of element”. The comparable level requirement is okay to
use as a reference but keep in mind there in no specific deduction.
