Bacground Check Information

 NCSI is launching an online “Applicant Status Check” tool that will allow Applicants on our full-service programs to log-in to our secure site and see the status of their background screening.  Often in the process, NCSI requires additional information from Applicants to verify their identity.  If additional information is needed and/or action is required by the Applicant, they will be informed of this via email and the online status tool.  These will be the primary methods of notification to the Applicant, so please instruct your Applicants to check their email and the online status tool regularly, until such time that they see a COMPLETED status in the online tool, which means a final determination was issued to you.

Effective May 15^th all Applicants will need a valid and active e-mail address in order to register for background screening with NCSI.  Communications from NCSI will largely be electronic, so it is imperative that Applicants have an e-mail account and that they check this regularly during the screening process.
